Payment & Cancellation policy

  • Payment is taken in full at the point of booking for all appointments.
  • At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
  • If you need to cancel an appointment, please notify me by email janetcappin1@outlook.com or text 07570976643.
  • Please try to give 24 hours’ notice so that the appointment can be offered to another patient.
  • Please be aware that where appointments are cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, payment cannot be refunded.

  • I offer private, self-funded appointments only – I’m not currently able to accept insurance claims.
  • I work with adults only, so I’m not able to treat under-18s.
  • I am not able to offer visits to care facilities or places of work.
  • My expertise is in musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic physiotherapy – joints and muscles. I do not treat lung /breathing disorders, heart conditions or neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease or Multiple Sclerosis.

I was experiencing lower back pain for more than a week when Janet visited. She quickly diagnosed the cause of the problem. The treatment I received and the subsequent exercises she set, quickly improved my pain levels and mobility.
She is clearly a very knowledgeable physiotherapist and conducted the consultation in a very friendly and professional way. I would thoroughly recommend her services to anyone who is experiencing muscular/skeletal issues.

I have had problems with my back for years and recently had an accident that made it flare up again. Janet is very professional and treated me in my own home. With a combination of treatment and exercises she set me, my back is now pain free! I can’t thank her enough!

I fully recommend Janet Cappin. I started physio with Janet 3 weeks and from the first home visit I was so impressed with Janet’s professional knowledge and thorough approach to my shoulder issue. Janet visited me twice at my house for two sessions of physiotherapy. Having a home visit was so much easier than spending time getting to and from a clinic.
I found Janet very professional and very knowledgeable. She listened carefully to the problems I was having. After examining me thoroughly she went through some exercises which have really helped me. The prompt email links she sent me after my appointments have been really very helpful too.
I would highly recommend the service Janet provides.

Janet is an exceptional physiotherapist and I am so glad (and relieved) that I have found her! I have visited several other physiotherapists in the area before and have never been completely satisfied, and always felt like I needed longer appointments than the standard 30 minutes.

I have full confidence in Janet's expertise and knowledge. It's very clear how experienced she is! My husband is now also seeing Janet and is very grateful for having found a physiotherapist who can understand and help him with his more complex issues.
